Eleven Planet: A Display Font That Lifts Your Digital Brand

I was halfway through refining the hero section of a new coaching website when I paused—something felt flat. The headline was clear, the CTA button contrasted well, but the tone didn’t quite match the client’s voice: warm, grounded, yet creatively energized. That’s when I pulled up Eleven Planet.

Eleven Planet is a display font with rhythm and personality—think playful curves, gentle asymmetry, and just enough groove to feel human without sacrificing polish. It’s not a script font, nor a strict geometric sans; it lives in that sweet spot where friendliness meets intention. Letters have subtle bounce, open counters, and friendly terminals—details that add warmth at larger sizes but don’t distract or blur on screen.

In practice, I dropped Eleven Planet into the hero headline first: “Clarity Starts Here.” At 48px on desktop and 36px on mobile (with proper line-height and letter-spacing), it held its shape beautifully—even over a softly blurred background image. No pixelation. No awkward kerning gaps. Just confident, approachable presence.

That’s where Eleven Planet shines: as a hero title, section heading, or brand mark accent. It’s built for moments where you want attention, emotion, and memorability—not long-form reading. I tested it in a few key areas:

Readability? Straightforward—but with nuance. On light backgrounds, Eleven Planet reads effortlessly above 24px. On dark or image overlays, I boosted contrast slightly (not with outline or shadow, but by selecting a bolder weight where available) and kept text blocks short. For mobile, I avoided using it below 28px—and never for paragraph copy. It’s a display font, not a workhorse. And that’s okay. Good typography knows its role.

I also checked responsiveness carefully. At 320px width, the headline resized smoothly with CSS clamp(), and the font’s natural openness prevented crowding. No need for custom fallbacks—the webfont loaded fast via standard @font-face, and the WOFF2 file was under 45KB. Bonus: it includes stylistic alternates (like a swash ‘y’ or connected ‘f-l’ ligature) that I used selectively in logo lockups and social bios—not everywhere, just where a little extra flair elevated the moment.

Font pairing matters, and Eleven Planet plays well with others. I landed on Inter for body, captions, and navigation—it’s neutral, highly legible, and shares Eleven Planet’s subtle humanist warmth without competing. For a more editorial site, I’d consider pairing it with a relaxed serif like Literata or Cormorant Garamond for blog headers, letting Eleven Planet handle only the boldest statements (“What You’ll Build,” “Your First Session,” “Limited Spots Open”).

Before committing, I double-checked licensing. Eleven Planet is a commercial font, and the license covers web use, digital templates, client projects, and even SaaS dashboards—as long as it’s embedded properly and not redistributed as a standalone font file. I confirmed multilingual support included Latin Extended-A, so accents in Spanish, French, and Portuguese rendered cleanly—important for a global coaching audience.

One real-world hiccup I noticed early: trying to use Eleven Planet in a small button label (14px). It lost legibility instantly. So I swapped it out—kept the same color, spacing, and hover effect, but used Inter Bold instead. Lesson learned: Eleven Planet isn’t for micro-interactions. It’s for macro-moments—where your brand says hello, invites curiosity, or marks a turning point.

I also tested it across devices. On an older iPad, the font rendered crisply. On Android Chrome, no hinting issues. And crucially, it passed basic WCAG contrast checks when paired with appropriate background colors—no flashing, no thin strokes disappearing at scale. As a designer, that peace of mind matters. You’re not just choosing style—you’re choosing reliability.

Where else did it land well? In a boutique online store’s seasonal campaign banner (“Summer Sessions Are Live”), a photographer’s portfolio homepage (“See What Moves You”), and a course sales page’s value proposition header (“Design With Confidence, Not Compromise”). Each time, Eleven Planet added tonal clarity—communicating creativity without chaos, energy without noise.

It’s not a font for every headline. But when you need a display font that feels both intentional and joyful—when your brand leans into authenticity, movement, or mindful expression—Eleven Planet delivers. It doesn’t shout. It hums. And in a feed-saturated, scroll-heavy web, that hum can be exactly what makes someone pause, read, and remember.

If you’re evaluating Eleven Planet for your next project, start simple: drop it into one high-impact headline. Test it at three breakpoints. Pair it with one dependable sans serif. Then ask: does it feel like *your* voice, just amplified? If yes—you’ve found more than a font. You’ve found a quiet piece of brand alignment.
